Dave Watler
With a degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Communications), Dave joined the Mercury Communications graduate training scheme in 1991 and progressed to hold various positions within Network Development. During this time he played a key role in the delivery of a number of integration projects, with responsibilities across the project life cycle from requirements definition, integration, test and acceptance as well as overall project delivery responsibility.
Dave left Mercury Communications in 1997 to join Quortex where he has since helped clients in the UK and Europe to successfully complete projects to deliver and launch new technology based products and services. Dave has worked with a range of organisations from start-ups to incumbents, typically in roles that provide a link between development and integration of technologies and launch of the products.
Whilst retaining his interest in technology, Dave is keen to ensure that projects deliver real results and tangible business benefits and believes alignment between technology, users and the business goals is key to the success of every project.
